80,000 hours for T8 & 58,000 hours for T5 Types!

The mechanical, electrical and technical light specifications for Aura Super Long Life fluorescent lamps are comparable to conventional lamps, however the Aura design incorporates two patents that allow lamps to be rated up to 80,000 hours for T8 & 58,000 hours for T5 Types.

The above life ratings are based on 80% of initial light output, 12 hour switching cycle with electronic ballasts and a 10% mortality rate.

A special cathode shield (figure 1) reduces the degradation of the filament whilst a protective layer on the inner side of the glass (figure 2) guards against chemical reactions that lower light output and contribute to end blackening.

Aura lamps are available in a wide range of T8/T5 linear and compact lamp types.

In addition to standard triphosphour models Aura also produce lamps specifically for signage, cool rooms and hazardous area lighting.

When considering operating costs over time Aura lamps provide a low cost alternative.

The purchase price is just the beginning, when analyzing the real cost over time. Both maintenance, which may include the hiring of lifting equipment together with disposal costs should be considered.W

Not all costs are obvious.

Aura ULTIMATE

Aura ULTIMATE Long Life fluorescent lamp is the result of intensive research and continuous development efforts. Aura ULTIMATE is a tri-phosphor lamp with the worlds longest service life and an extremely low lamp failure rate. This unique T8 lamp sets the standard for products with an extended lifetime.

Aura T8 ECO SAVER

Aura T8 Eco Saver Long Life is the first energy saving fluorescent lamp in Long Life version. This means that you save both energy and maintenance, i.e. your energy consumption could be as much as up to 12 percent lower. In addition you can still use your existing luminaires designed for T8 lamps. This makes this unique lamp a suitable solution for customers who want to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs in a simple way.

Aura T5 ECO SAVER

The Aura T5 ECO SAVER Long Life is the latest addition to the Aura range of Energy Saving Long Life lamps. Besides offering the benefits of a Long Life lamp, it provides you with 10% energy saving.

Aura SUPREME HO

Aura SUPREME High Output is a Long Life fluorescent lamp with a three times longer service life than standard T5 HO lamps. It is the perfect solution when you need the energy saving- and system miniaturisation characteristics of a T5 lamp with the high lumen package of HO in high ceiling applications.

Aura SUPREME HE

Aura SUPREME High Efficient is a Long Life fluorescent lamp ideally suited for applications where high-quality, energy-effective lighting is required. Aura SUPREME HE is a 16 mm diameter Long Life tri-phosphor fluorescent lamp with a three times longer service life than standard T5 HE lamps. SUPREME LL HE gives high colour rendering of Ra 85.

Aura T5 MINITURE

Aura T5 Miniature is a 16 mm diameter Long Life tri-phosphor fluorescent lamp with extra long service life. It has a lifetime up to four times longer compared to standard Miniature lamps.

Aura PROTECTOR

The Aura Protector lamps are Long Life fluorescent lamps lasting three times longer than standard lamps. The protector function is reached with high quality durable plastic protection film. The plastic film protects critical areas from glass splinters and fluorescent powder in case of lamp breakage.

Aura THERMO

Aura Thermo fluorescent lamps are designed specifically for environments where the ambient temperature is low. The unique construction contains a Long Life fluorescent lamp cased in an outer glass tube.

Aura REFLECTOR

Aura Reflector is developed for use in applications where a sufficient level of light must be available through direct or indirect reflection. The design with an integral horizontal reflecting layer of 160 � inside an outer glass tube provides additional more than 60 % of light at the place where it is needed.

Aura SIGNETTE

Aura Signette is designed to give internally illuminated signs a uniform distribution of light. A 26 mm Long Life fluorescent lamp is contained in a 38 mm diameter outer glass tube. Inside the outer tube are specially designed diffuser layers integrated to give optimised light uniformity both for single- and double-sided signs.

Aura SUPER EX

Aura Super EX Long Life is a 26 mm diameter high quality tri-phosphor fluorescent lamp with a special single pin cap Fa6 for use in luminaries in explosion proof areas.

Aura UNIQUE L

Aura UNIQUE-L Long Life are compact fluorescent lamps with two discharge tubes connected by a bridge. The single cap at one end has not integrated equipment for operation. Developed on base of the best available components and excellent processing they achieve a multiple lifetime compared to standard lamps.

Aura UNIQUE S/D/T

The complete Unique range of compact fluorescent lamps offers you an energy efficient light source with all the Aura Long Life benefits. Developed on base of the best available components and excellent processing they achieve a multiple lifetime compared to standard lamps. The UNIQUE-S, D and T are patented on platform of the Aura specific cathode shield construction and the inside protection layer.
